2027 Belize/ Guatemala Tour Itinerary   Jan 6-15, 2027/ Jan 15-24, 2027 


Experience the cultural richness and natural beauty of Central America.


Day 1--Our flight leaves from the Salt Lake City airport and will be arriving in Belize City in the afternoon. We will be met by our air conditioned charter bus which will transport us to the our hotel outside of Belize City.  Our rooms have been arranged to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay for everyone in our group. Overnight at jungle resort.


Day 2-- We will head North toward the town of Orange Walk. Here, we will board boats to take us on a trip up the External link opens in new tab or windowNew River,  to the ruins of External link opens in new tab or windowLamanai.  This is a spectacular site, deep in the jungle of Belize, situated right on the banks of the New River. Lunch is included today.  After our trip to the ruins, we will head back to the jungle resort.


Day 3--We have an exciting day planned with stops at the Jaguar Paw Resort for External link opens in new tab or windowcave tubing and External link opens in new tab or windowzip lining  (Zip lining optional).  After these adventures, we will travel toward the Guatemala border to the town of San Ignacio. Enjoy dinner on your own at a local nearby restaurant. Overnight San Ignacio.


Day 4-- Get ready for an adventure of a lifetime as we cross the border into Guatemala to visit External link opens in new tab or windowTikal, one of the most important cities in Maya history.  A place you will never forget.  Overnight in San Ignacio.


Day 5-- Today will be a free day for you to choose from several activities near San Ignacio. Some choices are the ruins of External link opens in new tab or windowCaracol, the External link opens in new tab or windowATM Caves, (External link opens in new tab or windowSee You Tube vid) or nearby waterfalls. We will have information about options to help you make your decision for a great day in the jungle! Overnight in San Ignacio


Day 6--Today we head out to visit the impressive nearby ruins of External link opens in new tab or windowXunantunich where you will learn more about the ancient cuture of the Maya. Afterward we will take a local chocolate making tour. Overnight in San Ignacio.   


Day 7--Today we will check out of our hotel and head toward the Caribbean coast for a water taxi ride to External link opens in new tab or windowCaye Caulker, a beautiful little island 45 min of the coast of Belize City.  After arriving to Caye Caulker, we will check into our hotel where you can relax or take a stroll around the sandy roads of the quaint little Caribbean island.  Overnight in Caye Caulker.


Day 8--Today is a free day to enjoy the island on your own or arrange for a External link opens in new tab or windowsnorkel or External link opens in new tab or windowdive tour from one of the many tour operators nearby.  Some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world is found near Caye Caulker!  You may want to rent a golf cart to explore this beautiful little island in the middle of the Caribbean. There are also other islands nearby that you may like to explore. Overnight in Caye Caulker


Day 9-Another free day to enjoy this beautiful, idyllic island in the Caribbean.  Overnight in Caye Caulker


Day 10-- Our flight leaves late in the afternoon so you will have your morning to relax and enjoy the tropical beauty of the island before heading back into the winter wonderland we call home. We will check out of our hotel around noon and catch the water taxi back to Belize City and on to the airport for our flight.
